Building the Forever Home

II Peter is another letter written by Peter a few years after the first letter. The second letter was also sent to the same group of churches in Asia Minor. Peter's purpose in this second letter was to affirm the truth of all he had taught them in scripture. All through II Peter, he gives us his great "last words" of wisdom and includes all the supporting details that gives us confidence in the truth of scripture. From reminding them there is truth to affirming the truth over the false teachers, to the return of the Lord is certain and that it should change the way we live now.
